Vicki H. Hoover
Vicki Hoover grew up in Savannah, Tennessee and graduated from Hardin County High School. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Memphis State University where she majored in Personnel Administration and Industrial Relations. - For more than fifteen years, Ms. Hoover served as a Human Resources Director and was a nationally-known consultant and seminar leader in the areas of Labor, Employee Relations, and Benefits. She served on numerous state and national committees and was recognized for her innovative and successful personnel and labor policies such as drug screening, risk management, and self-funded benefit plans, as well as one of the very first cafeteria plans. Ms. Hoover also authored numerous employee handbooks and training manuals for her corporate clients, including grievance procedures and progressive discipline plans. Vicki received the Governor’s Award during the early 1980’s for instituting one of the first employer sponsored child care centers.
- In 1991, Ms. Hoover graduated from the Nashville School of Law earning her Doctor of Jurisprudence. Shortly thereafter, she joined Michael Ainley in forming the law firm of Ainley & Hoover in Paris, Tennessee. She is licensed to practice law in Tennessee in both the state and federal courts. Ms. Hoover has proven herself to be a successful litigator with her primary practice areas being focused on Civil Litigation, Domestic Relations, Criminal Defense, Custody, Juvenile Law, Personal Injury. She has tremendous winning experience in trial litigation with her tenacity, professionalism, public speaking ability, and her courtroom demeanor. One of her many victories includes a jury award of 2.2 million dollars in a small, rural Tennessee county.
- In addition to her private law practice, Ms. Hoover serves as the Municipal Judge for the City of Henry, Tennessee. She is also licensed by the Tennessee Supreme Court as a Rule 31 Family Dispute Mediator.
- Vicki Hoover is married to her law partner, Michael Ainley, and they reside in Paris, Tennessee. She is a devoted mother to her daughter, Angela Hoover, who graduated from the Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law at the University of Memphis in June 2004, and has joined her mother as a partner in the firm. Angela is instrumental in operating the Franklin office of Ainley Hoover Clark & Hoover.
